Prospective Models:
If I have contacted you, chances are I am interested in photographing you. You may or may not have experience, but if you have a look that I can use in my portfolio, experience does not matter. It is common in the industry for models who want to build their portfolio to trade their time with a photographer who is interested in their look. This trade is often referred to TFCD or TFP, which means Time for CD or Time for Prints, respectively. I often photograph models TFCD, usually a 4-hour shoot, and in return I will supply you a CD with at least 5 high quality, edited images. An edited image is Photoshopped, ready to print with a fine tuned contrast, color, and softened blemishes. So if you are interested in a TFCD shoot, please e-mail me at alexander.gaskin@yahoo.com
If I have not contacted you, if you have found me either through a friend, your browser or a modeling site, and you want to be photographed or “tested” by me, please contact me at alexander.gaskin@yahoo.com Please attach to your e-mail any sort of current photo, which does not have to be professionally shot; any snapshot will do and serves to give me an idea of what your look is.
All models must be at least 18 years of age and provide a valid ID on the day of the shoot - no exceptions. At least two days beforehand we should discuss your wardrobe, what you need to bring and how to prepare. Please relax. I strive to be the best professional I can be, but I also believe a photo shoot should be fun at times, and I encourage my models to look forward to it as an adventure in creativity. I also want to thank all the models who have already graciously added to my portfolio; without you I would not have been able to make images at all. Thank you for all your hard work!
